Art Exhibit and Fundraiser a Success
We are SO excited to report back on how our Annual Art Exhibit and Art Fundraiser went!
Thanks to you and others involved we feel both events were successful! This was our first year doing the art fundraiser and the 2nd year doing the art exhibit.
From March 8th – May 2nd, Brushes and Beans Cafe hosted our Art Exhibit on the walls of their ceramic side of the store. We loved seeing all the bright colors and the variety of projects our artists displayed. Working with Miss Gabi Nastuck from the Art is Good Studio the artists continue to enhance their skills each year and seeing their work is truly good for the heart and soul!! Thank you to ALL of the Artists that shared their work for everyone to enjoy! Pieces of work were displayed from ALL AGES and ALL ABILITIES.
On May 6th we were able to have our art fundraiser at Poke Run Presbyterian Church. This event was so much fun! People came out to paint ceramics together. With registration, each participant picked a ceramic, received an event T-shirt, and refreshments were included. We also had other items to purchase such as our ESCA logo shirts, extra event T-shirts, to-go bags with smaller ceramics, any leftover ceramics, and jewelry from our Art from the Heart jewelry group led by Miss LaVerne Von Scio! Ceramics were provided by AB Ceramics in Jeanette and our heart shaped sugar cookies that melted in your mouth were from Taylor Made Cookies! We had T-shirts made at Tees-n-Tops and they did a great job!
