East Suburban Citizen Advocacy Sponsors Christmas Play; Auditions Soon

Welcome to Music, an inclusive theater program, will be performing “Yes, Virginia” this December. Two separate shows will perform, with one in Murrysville and another in McKeesport. Auditions for the McKeesport show will occur on September 10th at the McKeesport Little Theater from 2:30 to 4:30 PM. The Murrysville show will have auditions on September 17th at the Murrysville Community Library from 2:30 to 4:30 PM. Auditions are open for ages five to adult and for individuals with and without developmental disabilities. Audition appointments may be made beginning September 6 (for Murrysville Show) and August 15 (for McKeesport Show) by calling 724-516-3662 or by emailing welcometomusic.info@gmail.com.

ESCA’s Every Voice Choir is an inclusive choir that sings numerous genres of music, from secular to worship, and current to classical. Sponsored by East Suburban Citizen Advocacy and Welcome to Music, the singing group welcomes all levels and voice types, and is open to ages eleven and up. Clelian Heights to Hold Barbecue

Clelian Heights School for exceptional Children located on Old Rte 66 between Greensburg and Delmont will host its 19th annual Wholey's Old Fashioned Chicken Barbecue Sunday September 18 from 1 to 5 pm. Eat in or take out.

This family event has basket raffles and silent auction items including Steeler and Penguin tickets and much more.

Using Our Hearts and Hands to Help Others

Using Our Hearts and Hands to Help Others, the 20th annual afternoon of reflection for individuals with disabilities and life challenging illnesses, will be held Oct 30 from 1-6:30 pm at Our Lady of Grace Parish. Msgr Lawrence R Kiniry will serve as moderator. The day will include Mass, teachings, music, dinner and fellowship. Participants are asked to bring a plain or printed pillowcase for a mission project to help children in Haiti. Cost is $6.50 per person.
