posted May 03, 2016
Dear Families, Mark your calendars for Monday, June 20th for Down Syndrome Awareness night with the Pittsburgh Pirates. A portion of each ticket sold will benefit the Down Syndrome Association of Pittsburgh.

You may wonder well how does this event support our DS community? The Down Syndrome Assoc of Pittsburgh (DSAP) provides new parent packets, adolescent packets and adult packets. All of the books families receive are funded by the DSAP. Also, DSAP sponsors a wonderful family day at Idlewild Park(Aug 14) because of generous donations, the cost per person is subsidized by DSAP as well. Lastly, DSAP sponsors the Football Camp for the STARS a camp for guys with Down syndrome to participate in a sport that they love.
