Introducing a new concept in worship, "God's Choice", a growing church!

Every Monday at 5 pm

"God's Choice" is a Church that welcomes all people, but focuses specifically on those of all ages with special needs or disabilities, their care givers, spouses, and families

We encourage you to join us every week as we enjoy a meal together, sing, study the Bible, make crafts, and give away some free stuff!

Special Notes Music program is a music education program for ages 18 month to adult, dedicated to providing our special needs population an opportunity to experience and explore music in an environment suitable to their needs.

2017 TRI21-4DS, A Walk, Run or Bike Event

Plans are currently underway for this year’s TRI21-4DS, a walk, run and biking event that supports the Down Syndrome Center of Pittsburgh.
On Sunday, May 21, the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Society of Pediatric Nurses (Southwestern PA Nurses for Kids), will host the annual TRI21-4DS, a 2-mile fun walk, 5-mile run or a 10-mile bike ride at the Riverfront Park in Millvale, Pa.
Last year’s event raised more than $5,000 for the Center, which provides support, education, and resources for children and adults with Down syndrome. It is our hope that you will sponsor our event by making a monetary donation to be used for event incidentals, like T-shirts and food, or by donating an item for our basket ra e. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. Donations greater than $250.00 will be recognized on our o cial event T-shirts that all participants will receive.

College and Transition Fair for Students with Disabilities

College and Transition Fair for Students with Disabilities
Spring College and Transition Fair
6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2017

Norwin School District has teamed up with Penn-Trafford, Franklin Regional, and Belle Vernon Area School Districts to bring students with disabilities a College and Transition Fair. The fair will provide families and students with resources about community agencies as well as supports that are available at colleges for students with disabilities. Several colleges will be in attendance with disability counselors on site to help field questions.
Finally, there will be employment opportunities for students with disabilities. There are several corporations attending that are interested in hiring students with disabilities. Families and students with IEPs, 504 Plans, and any other documented disabilities are encouraged to attend. Miracle Field - Stephen Zubrow Memorial Playground

Owner Build Workdays, April 8 and 9, 2017, 8am to noon and noon to 4 pm each day.

Construction has begun on the playground at the Miracle Field. The municipality of Murrysville cleared the earth and set the base level of stone. Kpmpan will be coming out March 29 to set the first foundations for the larger equipment.

The Miracle Field has agreed to build the playground sets once the foundatio and footing work is complete. To openthe playground the second week of May, we have set April 8 and 9 as our workdays. We need 6 -8 volunteers for four hour shifts on each day. You can sign up for more than one shift

Volunteers must be 18 years or older to to Kompan regulations

We will be providing all the tools with some minor exceptions. We will need a few steel garden rakes to move stone and 3 -4 wheel barrows

The contractor will provide socket sets. The Miracle League will provide refreshments and lunch.
